Get more involved in 2 community groups: I’m currently in the middle of student teaching, which takes a ton of my time and energy. I don’t have a ton left in me to spend on getting to know new people and going to lots of social events sadly. However, I have gotten more involved in my church community by helping with children’s ministry, volunteering as the Preschool Group Leader for Vacation Bible School this summer, and hanging with some friends outside of church. I really look forward to continuing to expand my involvement once student teaching is over, but for now I’m just focused on maintaining current relationships.
Drink enough water: I haven’t been tracking this for the last 6 months, but I’m going to start again for the last quarter of the year and kick butt at it!
Visit 2 new countries: I visited the Azores (part of Portugal) in June with one of my friends from undergrad. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to knock Mexico off my list before the end of the year, but if not it won’t be the end of the world.
Clean my room/apartment for at least 10 minutes a day: Again, I haven’t been tracking this for the last 6 months. I think if I can do this every night it will help me stay grounded and will make my home a more relaxing place to be.
